I am thrilled to introduce you to Oculus Travel - a labor of love and a manifestation of my lifelong passion for Africa, travel, and conservation.

Is there a cost of making contact?

No, I am here to guide you and offer advice. Once you confirm a booking, invoices are raised for your trip. No obligations before confirmation.

Why do I need your service if I can search for holidays myself?

If you have the time, energy, certainty and know-how to build your own itinerary and manage any changes then you do not need my services. I aim to provide advice, inspiration, and support to ambitious travellers who choose the level of assurance and convenience that my services afford them.

Do your services make my holiday more expensive?

No. My fees are included in the final invoice so there is no extra cost. Service providers and I share any service fees or commissions that would be payable if you were contracting directly with them. They’re happy to do so as I bring them clients they wouldn’t otherwise have access to and I rely on their partnership to deliver the logistics of your travel arrangements so partnering is to our mutual and longstanding benefit

Do you only cover Africa?

I only cover territories of which I have first-hand knowledge, expertise and local experts partners that I trust. If you wish to enquire about destinations other than Africa do reach out. If it’s not a territory I cover, I will either put you in contact with a trusted partner or advise you that I am unable to help out if I am not able to match you with a reliable trusted partner.

How can my travel make a positive impact?

If carried out in the right spirit and approach, travel brings awareness and funds to impoverished communities and conservation efforts which might otherwise remain neglected. We work with travel brands with environmental sustainability, sensitive community outreach and wildlife conservation at their core, so like minded respectful visitors can have a significantly positive impact on the people, environment and wildlife of the places they visit.
